Bio
Panda Award winning macro specialist and filmmaker, based in Bristol, UK /Tel Aviv, Israel
My journey as a photographer started at the age of 13, when I was given my first compact camera.
I quickly fell in love with the ability to tell a story through the lens, and taught myself as much as I could about photography and cinema, eventually making my way into studying film and art in Thelma Yellin national art high school. After graduating I was recruited to the Israeli police to serve my national service as a photographer /filmmaker in the police media division for 3 intensive years, during which I was given the opportunity to work with a wide variety of cameras and software types in various, unconventional and challenging scenarios.
I have always loved animals and nature, as well as art and photography. when I finished my term as a police photographer I found wildlife photography & filmmaking to be the perfect combination of art and science and decided to chase my dream career as a wildlife cinematographer by relocating to Bristol, UK and completing an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking (UWE).
Today I specialise in macro photography and natural history content for blue chip productions and social media outlets. My skills have contributed to productions for clients such as BBC, National Geographic and NHK world.
My constantly evolving instagram photography project- @space_invaders_macro focuses on finding tiny, wild stories and sharing them with the world.
